Unadjusted Canadian retail sales reached $70.7 billion in April 2025, the second consecutive monthly increase. From a year-to-date perspective, the sector that has witnessed the strongest growth in the first four months of 2025 compared to the same point in time in 2024 are clothing and accessories retailers with growth of 9.1%.
