Saskatoon’s retail market continues with resilience despite significant national retail upsets. Nearly half of the current retail vacancy in Saskatoon is attributed to the closure of Hudson Bay in the CBD.
Many of the other large vacancies that occurred in the first half of 2025 have been filled such as Peavy Mart, Giant Tiger on 22nd St W, Boston Pizza in Lakewood, as well as significant uptake in new suburban retail developments.
